From the Garden
From the smelly Durian fruit in Thailand, to fresh-picked apples, corn, and carrots in the Southern US, being a Vegetarian on the road means you come into contact with some interesting and delicious dishes. If you ever feel like you just need some fresh citrus in your life, or maybe a leafy green or two, try some of these dishes on for size!
Meat May Be Murder, But It's Still Pretty Darn Good!
Yes, in the last section I said I was a Vegetarian, yes that is true, but there is an exception to that rule. For me, part of experiencing a new culture as a whole means eating their food, their traditional dishes, their delacasies, and if it just so happens to be meat, well that's alright with me.
I am a fan of the liquid diet, sometimes maybe a little too much, but when in Rome you drink wine, when in Ireland you drink Guinness and Jameson, when in Thailand you drink.....lots of stuff you may not be able to pronounce the name of. So with that being said, here are a few "shots from the road."
Certain things just can't be categorized, or they can but this was just way easier, from Pizza, to coffee, to Icelandic Hot Dogs, these munchies are sure to get the stomach grumbling for more!
